The Farmhouse Plainfield

A wedding at The Farmhouse is an extra special affair. We have our grand event space for those who prefer to be indoors, and the patio is the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding.  Minimal decorations are needed thanks to magnificent landscaping and an abundance of beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs.

Your guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while conversing with friends and family on our expansive patio, and the numerous fireplaces accent the festivities with an exquisite warm glow. Patio string lights and plentiful up-lighting provide the perfect romantic setting for an evening of celebration.

Brides and their bridesmaids will enjoy spending the day in the 500 sq. ft bridal suite which includes an intimate patio where the bride and bridesmaids can enjoy champagne, breakfast or lunch, or just relax prior to the event. Hairstyling and makeup stations will be provided, as well as a small beverage bar and private bathroom. The groom and groomsmen are provided with multiple suites on their own private floor.

Can I get ready + dressed at The Farmhouse

The bridal suite is designed so that you + your bridal party can all get ready at the space together. Bring in your hair + makeup team or select from our list of five star vendors that will come to you.

The groom’s suite features a 3 large rooms, large television, a personal mini fridge for you to stock, + a bathroom equipped with a shower.

 

Do you have a preferred vendor list?

No, we can recommend some awesome people who share the same aesthetic + vision as we do but ultimately it is your decision on who you want to hire as a vendor.

 

Is smoking allowed?

No smoking inside, but our patio space outside is smoking friendly.

 

Can I have rehearsal at The Farmhouse

Absolutely, if no event is scheduled for the Thursday prior. Please ask our event coordinator to see rates.

 

When can we start setting up?

Our doors open at 9am for you to begin setting up.

 

How can we see the space before booking?

Please contact our event coordinator to set up a tour of the space as it is by appointment only

 

What is your capacity?

We can host 200 people

 

Do you have heating + air conditioning?

Yes! we have heating & air at no extra cost.

 

Do you take commission from other vendors?

Absolutely not!  We support all of our small businesses + local vendors

 

What is required for clean up?

All rentals + décor brought in from client must be removed at the end of your event.

 

Can I provide my own alcohol / food?

All food must be from a licensed and insured caterer. An alcohol menu is designed by the lovely couple but must be served by our bartending service Sip.

 

Do I have to hire someone from your preferred vendor list?

No, we can recommend some awesome people who share the same aesthetic + vision as we do but ultimately it is your decision on who you want to hire as a vendor.

 

Can we bring in our own décor?

Yes, but the décor should get approval from our event coordinator. Once approved, client will be responsible for setting it up, tearing it down + having it out by the time your rental is over. Any damage to the property will be billed to you after the event.

 

Is The Farmhouse animal friendly?

Absolutely! Bring them whether it be for pictures, ceremony, or have them hang out the whole day with you.
