How does your pricing work?
We are a unique and elegant experience, and our pricing remains competitive. How we differ is there is NO service charge and NO tax and gratuity, ultimately saving you money overall and offering more options. What are the dimensions of each guest table?
The farm tables are 10 feet long and the round tables are 72 inches. What are the dimensions of each mantel?
The indoor mantel is 8 feet long and 10 inches deep. The outdoor mantel is 6 feet long and 8 inches deep. How many guests can be seated at each table?
The farm tables can hold up to 10 guests and the round tables can hold up to 12 guests. Can we arrive any earlier than 9 am or extend past 11 pm?
Unfortunately, no. We have an agreement with the City of Plainfield that does not allow anyone in prior to 9am. That includes all vendors. Your bar and D] must end at 11 pm. When will my tables, chairs, and linens be set up for my wedding day?
Al your tables, chairs, and linens wil be set up prior to your arrival at 9am. Are plates, silverware, napkins, and glassware included?
Al plates, silverware, glassware, and napkins will come from your caterer. Are confetti cannons, money guns, or smoke bombs allowed?
No, none of these are allowed. Can my flower girl throw real or fake flower petals?
If the ceremony is outside, we do not allow fake flower petals. If the ceremony is inside, either petal is fine. Can I get ready and dressed at The Farmhouse?
The bridal suite is designed so that you and your bridal party can all get ready at the space together. Bring in your hair and makeup team or select from our list of five star vendors that will come to you. The groom’s suite features a 3 large rooms, large television, a personal mini fridge for you to stock, and a bathroom equipped with a shower. Do you have a preferred vendor list?
We have a "Recommendations List" that suggests some awesome people who share the same aesthetic and vision as we do, but ultimately it is your decision on who you want to hire as a vendor. Do I have to hire someone from your preferred vendor list?
No, feel free to choose your own - ultimately it is your decision on who you want to hire as a vendor. Can I have rehearsal at The Farmhouse?
Absolutely, if no event is scheduled for the Thursday prior. Please ask our event coordinator to see rates. When can we start setting up?
Our doors open at 9am for you to begin setting up. How can we see the space before booking?
Please contact our event coordinator to set up a tour of the space as it is by appointment only. What is your capacity?
We can host 200 people. Do you have heating and air conditioning?
Yes! we have heating & air at no extra cost. Do you take commission from other vendors?
Absolutely not! We support all of our small businesses + local vendors What is required for clean up?
All rentals and décor brought in from client must be removed at the end of your event. Can I provide my own alcohol / food?
All food must be from a licensed and insured caterer. An alcohol menu is designed by the lovely couple but must be served by our bartending service: Sip Bar Service. They will build your "shopping list" and the couple purchases their own alcohol and Sip serves, saving you thousands by not charging a per person price. Is smoking allowed?
No smoking inside, but our patio space outside is smoking friendly. Can we bring in our own décor?
Yes, but the décor should get approval from our event coordinator. Once approved, client will be responsible for setting it up, tearing it down and having it out by the time your rental is over. Any damage to the property will be billed to you after the event. Is The Farmhouse animal friendly?
Absolutely! Bring them whether it be for pictures, ceremony, or have them hang out the whole day with you. When is my first planning meeting?
We will reach out to you when your second payment is due and schedule your first planning with your second payment. |
